Sunflowers -- Coming On Up!



Onions - almost big enough to transplant....almost!

Carrots - not as  many as we would have liked...but the ones we have are  holding on pretty good!

AND LOOK!!!!! PEAS!!! I planted these last Monday - a mere 8 days ago and they are almost bigger than the onions I planted a month ago...peas are fantastic things to grow if you want to feel all "green thumby."

My Blueberry bush -- it is doing swell!! I have no idea if we will actually have a berry from this bush this year - but I am hoping at least maybe next year...I love it!

And finally...a place to stop and sit and admire it all. And hey, there is a red petunia among the purple ones!!
Who knew??

The Peace Garden - A Photographic Preview

Not long ago I wrote about the garden my kiddo and I planted recently. We have been patiently waiting for some sprouts to appear and I am happy to report that all seeds have sprouted...sunflowers, onions and carrots! We are so thrilled!

Here are a few pictures of my first spring veggie garden! Pray for rain and a good harvest!
